Club Overview

The VAVi Running Club “TVRC” is an organized Full Marathon, Half Marathon Training Program.  We train for specific races, but many just join us to run with friends.

  • Rock n Roll Full Marathon in June

ALL Runners welcome: Beginners (Run/Walkers), Intermediate, Advanced.

How?

  • Training based on running 4x days per week.
  • Group runs 2x per week (Tue night, Sat Morning)
  • Individual runs 2x per week – on your own.

  • Every Tuesday evening, 6:00 PM – Mission Bay Area
  • Every Saturday Morning, 7:30 A.M. – Throughout SD County*
  • Informal group runs can be organized too.

Dual Season Extended Training Program

Is your goal to run a full marathon? Is a traditional 18 week training program not long enough for you? Do you want the extra assurance of sufficient and injury-free training to complete a Full Marathon? Or, do you just love the TVRC running club so much that you want to just keep joining? The Team VAVi Running Club (TVRC) has a program for you!

Team VAVi Running Club has designed a special dual-season training program getting you 32 weeks of training towards the "grand daddy" Rock 'n' Roll Marathon with 2 major local running races in between. The program is designed around the two major San Diego marathons (Carlsbad and Rock 'n' Roll).

NOTE: The Dual Season Program is only available to start
in the Fall/Winter Season (October)
