Dates and Prices, 2012-13 Seasons
We have specific and focused Training Programs for for up to 5 Races covering 3 Seasons over the course of an 8 Month period. We also have two unique Extended programs that overlap a two seasons, including one Triple Crown that expands the entire 42 weeks of dedicated & focused training.
Since the Race Registration fees are NOT included with the training programs, you can choose whatever race you wish to train for - as long as it fits within the particular Season, plus or minus a week or two.
A Building Progression
We have designed the entire year to slowly build in overall progression in regards to training, intensity, technical information (clinics) and workouts. This is for example, why we do not have a Beginner Program for the Summer Season, our last. It's also why we do not do Track workouts in the Winter Season, our first, nor have the "Running 101" clinic at the start of Summer. The Spring Season builds on the Winter, and the Summer builds on the Spring.

We will have customized training schedules for each of the races above, but the Coaches will be glad to personalize one for you if you're training for a race that is not shown (as long as it's a race that falls within the season, plus or minus a week or two.)

Winter 2012 Season
1. Training Program for 2013 Carlsbad Half Marathon
A 12 week Half Marathon Training Program for the Carlsbad Half Marathon. Perfect for the runner looking to training and complete the Carlsbad Half Marathon. The scheduled race is:

- Sorry, we do NOT train for the Full Marathon during this season

An extended 18 week Half Marathon Training Program for the 2nd annual San Diego Half Marathon. Perfect for those looking to train for their first Half Marathon on a more gradual pace. The scheduled race is:

*NOTE: If you are signing up for the LJ Half Training Program only, Due to the shortened training period (11 weeks) The LJ Half Marathon Training Program is designed for intermediate/advanced runners that have some running experience. There is no "Beginner - Run/Walk" program. Those with NO running experience should review their experience and current fitness levels before joining. This is different than the Winter Carlsbad Half Marathon program which does have a beginner - run/walk component with it.
4. Training Program for 2013 Rock-n-Roll Half or Full Marathon (w/ LJ Half Training)
An 18 Week Training Program for the San Diego Rock n Roll Half or Full Marathons, including the San Diego Half and/or La Jolla Half Marathon if you wish.

The 18 week schedule includes training for the RnR HALF or FULL marathons - you choose. Also during this training, we run the La Jolla Half Marathon as an interim race but you do not have to run it if you don't want to.

A 12 week Half Marathon Training Program for the America's Finest City Half Marathon. Perfect for runners who are looking to train specifically for the AFC Half.

An extended 32 week training program for both the Carlsbad Half and Rock n Roll Half (or Full) Marathons. You have the option to also do La Jolla Half Marathon. This is the perfect program if you are a newer runner and wish to do your first Full Marathon. The scheduled races are:

An extended 30 week Spring training program for both the Roll Half or Full Marathons and the AFC Half Marathon. You have the option to also do La Jolla Half Marathon. This is the perfect program if you are a newer runner and wish to do your first Full Marathon. The scheduled races are:

8. TRIPLE Crown Training Program for 2013 Carlsbad Half, La Jolla Half and AFC Half Marathons
This is the crown jewel! An all-out ultra-extended 41 week training program for all three major half marathon races making up the "Triple Crown" including the Carlsbad Half, La Jolla Half and AFC Half Marathons. You also have the option to do SD Half and Rock n Roll Half (or Full) marathons as well. Basically, you're in the club for 8 months straight and you can choose your races. This is the perfect program if you are a newer runner and wish to do your first Triple Crown race series, or if you are a seasoned runner who just loves to keep on training and racing!! The scheduled races are:

- La Jolla Half Marathon (4/28/13)**
- AFC Half Marathon (8/18/13)

Joining Late?
*We do accept registrations after our typical closing date which is usually 2 weeks after we start. Do keep in mind that we will be X weeks into the training program so you will have some catching up to do. You will also have missed out on some of the clinics and informational sessions. For many, these aren't a big deal since you're just looking for a great group to train with for the longer miles, but we just want to let you know.
